Winter NAMM Show 2008On Thursday, January 17, 2008, at the NAMM 2008 Exhibition, QSC announced our latest professional power amplifier, the GX Series. The new versatile GX Series amplifiers are taking aim at the needs of musicians, DJs, and performers of all description. Consisting of two professional models outfitted with feature sets and power ratings designed to meet the requirements of popular passive loudspeakers, the GX Series is as reliable as the day is long and is marked by affordable prices that go easy on virtually any budget. 2008 also marks a milestone for the company as we celebrate our 40th anniversary. From humble beginnings in 1968, QSC has steadily grown into one of the leading manufactures of professional audio equipment and shows no sign of slowing down as we reach out into new international markets and continue to grow our product line (you can read more about QSC's history here). The founders of the company, Pat Quilter, Barry Andrews and John Andrews, were on hand at the tradeshow booth to launch the new GX Series and to meet long-time QSC customers and also new, potential customers. And if the tradeshow booth looked different from past years, that's because the NAMM show marks the maiden voyage of a new exhibit that will be used at events throughout the year and beyond. This new exhibit provides an opportunity for us to display products in a way that allows visitors to get up close and personal with our wide array of gear. And let's not forget the dedicated staff who stand at the ready to answer any questions, even the most technical ones as QSC employs some of the most talented experts in the business.
